NETSTAT.EXE Does Not Show TCP Listen Sockets

The NETSTAT -A command does not display state information for TCP socketsin the listening state. Only sockets in the established state and the timewait state are shown. UDP sockets are displayed in the listening state.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows NTversions 3.5 and 3.51. We are researching this problem and will post newinformation here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows NTversion 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Windows NT4.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, queryon the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
