The following macro uses relative references and may cause a run-time erroras described in the "Symptoms" section:
Sub Recorded_GoalSeek() ActiveCell.Offset(1, 0).Range("A1").GoalSeek Goal:=50, _ ChangingCell:=ActiveCell End Sub
To avoid the run-time error, correct the macro as follows. Note that itdoes not contain any relative references:
Sub Correct_GoalSeek() ActiveCell.GoalSeek Goal:=50, ChangingCell:=ActiveCell.Offset(1, 0) End Sub
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft productslisted at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problemand will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as itbecomes available.
