Dynamic Drive Overlay makes calculations for the starting root foldercluster based on FAT12 and FAT16 volumes and returns a value of zero forFAT32 volumes. This occurs because of changes made in the root folderstructure. The overlay software searches all possible clusters in the rootfolder for its overlay files.
Configuring the Disk Manager Dynamic Drive Overlay software to avoidsearching the root folder causes Disk Manager to not hook the DOS ArenaChain, forcing Disk Manager to load low in conventional memory.
Disk Manager is manufactured by OnTrack Computer Systems, a vendorindependent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability.
