When you use the right mouse button to click a file in Windows Exploreror My Computer, some files have a Quick View option and some do not. Thisarticle describes how to enable or disable Quick View for a particularfile type.
To enable or disable Quick View for a particular file type, follow thesesteps:
In Windows Explorer, click Options on the View menu.
Click the File Types tab.
Click the type of file you want to modify, and then click Edit.
Enable or disable Quick View.
Note that not all items are displayed as you expect when you are usingQuick View. For example, when you view a binary file such as an animatedcursor (*.ani) file using Quick View, you see the binary contents and nota picture of the cursor.
