The steps necessary to create mailing labels vary depending on whichversion of Works you are using, but they all involve the creation of botha database file and a word processing document.

To find the step-by-step instructions on how to create mailing labels,do the following for your version of Works:

Works 4.0, 4.5, 4.5a

  1. On the Help menu, click Index.
  2. Type mail.
  3. Click Mail Merge: Mailing Labels.
  4. Click, To Create Labels.
  5. Follow the instructions.

Works 3.0

  1. On the Help menu, click Search For Help On.
  2. Type mail.
  3. Double-click the entry for Mailing Labels.
  4. Select Creating a Mailing Label Document, and click Display.
  5. Follow the instructions.

Works 3.0 Multimedia Edition

  1. Insert the Works Compact Disc in the CD-ROM drive.
  2. On the Help menu, click Contents.
  3. Click Printing.
  4. Click Printing Form Letters, Mailing Labels, and Envelopes.
  5. Click Creating Mailing Labels.
  6. Follow the instructions.

Works 2.0

  1. On the Help menu, click Index.
  2. Click the Search button.
  3. Type mail.
  4. Click the Display button.
  5. Click the Display button again.
  6. Follow the instructions.
