Uninstall Internet Explorer 4.0 Option Is Missing

The Uninstall Internet Explorer 4.0 and all its componentsoption may not be available using the Add/Remove Programs tool in ControlPanel. For IE 4.0, the only option may be to add a component or to add the desktop update.
For IE 5, the only option may be to add a component or to Repair Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer 4.x and 5.x has an option to delete the Setup files and backupinformation that is necessary to uninstall Internet Explorer. If youuse this option, there is no way to uninstall Internet Explorer 4.x and 5.x and you may be unable to use the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programsapplet to uninstall the prevous version of Internet Explorer."
