Kernel.exe describes the 32-bit protected-mode operating system at the core of Windows 95 (also referred to as the "kernel") and the standard virtual device drivers (VxDs) included in Windows 95.
Given that corrections were made to the kernel documentation, this documentation is available as a downloadable file. The file, in Microsoft Word format, allows you to print a well-formatted hard copy if desired. In addition, the .exe file self-extracts to a .doc file.
