When you try to add a Custom Date using the year 00 on the Custom tab ofthe properties sheet for a Microsoft Office document, you receive thefollowing error message:
The value entered does not match with the specified type. The value will be stored as text.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 4.
