After you install the 1995 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia version 7.01,your computer restarts, and you may then receive one or more of thefollowing general protection (GP) fault error messages:
IS20DEL caused a segment not present fault in module USER.EXE at 0004:00002ca4
MMTASK caused a general protection fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 0004:00001837
MMTASK caused a segment not present fault in module KRNL386.EXE at 0002:00000d82
This behavior can occur because the Msacm.dll file is loaded into memoryby Windows 98 or Windows Me when it starts. The Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia Setupprogram overwrites and then restores this file while it is resident inmemory, and this causes the copy of the file that is resident in memoryto become unstable.
