When you use the Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) update withRemote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS)authentication and accounting, the MPROUTER process consumes100 percent processor time.
The RADIUS server returned an invalid length field in a response packet.
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in theMicrosoft Knowledge Base:

Apply the Routing and Remote Access Hotfix Pack 3.0. For your convenience,the English version of this post-SP3 hotfix has been posted to thefollowing Internet location. However, Microsoft recommends that you installWindows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 to correct this problem.
