Advanced Configuration and Power Interface Errors on Red Screen

When you try to start your Windows 98-based computer, you may receive anAdvanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) error message on a redscreen.
This behavior can occur if your computer has a hardware or BasicInput/Output System (BIOS) problem. ACPI error messages on a red screenare generated by a computer's BIOS.
To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your computer's BIOS toinquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
