When you attempt to view graphics files in Thumbnail view or inPreview mode when you are viewing a folder as a Web page, certainJoint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG, or .jpg) files may not generatean image. However, these files do open correctly when you double-clickthem.
Typically, .jpg files are encoded in a three-channel, RGB format. It ispossible, in some programs, to create .jpg files that are encoded in four-channel, CMYK color format. Windows is unable to display .jpg files thatare not in three-channel, RGB color format.
