XADM: IIS Crashes with ActiveX Component Using MAPI

When you create an ActiveX in-process (DLL) component using MAPI, and useit on an Active Server Pages (ASP) with Collaboration Data Objects (CDO),the Internet Information Server (IIS) may terminate unexpectedly if two ormore sessions are created by different user accounts.
The Emsmdb32.dll file fails to get global instance for the session when in-process components share the global instance with CDO. This causes the IISto close.
To work around this problem, create the ActiveX component as out-of-process(EXE) or don't use CDO to access Exchange Server.
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Serverversion 5.5. For more information, please see the following article in theMicrosoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Serverversion 5.5.
