When attempting to publish your web site from Microsoft Publisher, youmay receive the following message:
The Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard 1.52 is not installed.
To install the Web Publishing Wizard, first save your Publication and close Publisher. Then double-click the shortcut on your desktop named "Setup for Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard 1.52." For more information on installing the Web Publishing Wizard, press F1 now.
This behavior occurs if the Web Publishing Wizard you installed is notthe correct version. When you click the Publish To Web command on theFile menu in Publisher, it looks for the Web Publishing Wizard. If itfinds an older version than the one that ships on the MicrosoftPublisher 98 compact disc, you may receive the message in the "Symptoms"section of this article.
Install the Web Publishing Wizard (version 1.52) that ships withMicrosoft Publisher 98. To do this, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Use the Shortcut
If you see the "Setup for Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard 1.52" shortcuton your Desktop, double-click it to install the Web Publishing Wizard.
NOTE: You will need to insert the Microsoft Publisher 98 compact disc inyour CD-ROM drive to install the Web Publishing Wizard.
Method 2: Run Webpost.exe
The Webpost.exe file contains the setup program for the Web PublishingWizard. To run Webpost.exe, follow these steps:
Insert the Microsoft Publisher 98 compact disc in the CD-ROM drive.
On the Windows Start menu, click Run.
In the Open box, type
where <drive> is the CD-ROM drive that contains the Microsoft Publisher 98 compact disc.
