This article describes how to change the default Search bar size inInternet Explorer.

To change the default Search bar size in Internet Explorer, follow thesesteps:
- Using Registry Editor, modify the ExplorerBar value data in following registry keyHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Mainso that the second pair of values is one of the following values:00 - normal screenFor example, if you want to change the default Search bar size to half screen and the ExplorerBar value data is currently "ff 01 00 00 61 93 45 00," change the 01 value to "02" (without quotation marks) so that the value data reads "ff 02 00 00 61 93 45 00."
01 - normal screen
02 - half screen
03 - 3/4 screen
04 - full screen
- Quit Registry Editor, quit Internet Explorer if it is running, and then restart your computer.
