If an attempt is made to connect to a Distributed File System (Dfs) leaf asecond time, the following error message occurs if the referral points to aNovell NetWare server:

This problem occurs because the Multiple UNC (uniform naming convention)Provider (MUP) is using the wrong redirector to process the request.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5.
