If you install the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) service on acomputer running Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 3, and theninstall a new certificate, you may be unable to send messages that requireSecure Sockets Layer (SSL) authentication through the SMTP service.
