SYMPTOMS
If you change the Time Font size in the Day/Week/Month view of theMicrosoft Outlook Calendar, the size does not change on the CalendarTime Bar.
CAUSE
The Time font specifies the font for hours on the Calendar time bar whenviewing days. While you can change the Time font name and size, changes tothe size are not displayed on the time bar. The Calendar time bar alwaysdisplays the Time font size as two times the Day font size. The Day font is thefont defined by the Font button in the Day area of the "FormatDay/Week/Month View" dialog box.
RESOLUTION
To change the Time font size on the time bar, set the Day font size half aslarge. For example, if you want the hours on the time bar in a 32-pointsize, set the Day font to 16 points. To do this, followthese steps.

For Microsoft Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002

  1. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Day/Week/Month.
  2. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
  3. In the View Summary dialog box, click Other Settings.
  4. Under Day, click Font.
  5. In the Size box, type or select a point size half as large as you want for the Time font.
  6. Click OK to return to the Format Day/Week/Month View dialog box. The Time font may not indicate the correct size in this dialog box. However, it will be displayed on the time bar at two times the size that the Day font indicates.
  7. Click OK two times to return to the Calendar.

For Microsoft Office Outlook 2003

  1. On the View menu, point to Arrange By, and then click Day/Week/Month.
Note For a shortcut to the Calendar form, right-click the Day/Date taskbar at the top of the Calendar form while you are in the Day/Week/Month view, and then click Other settings. This shortcut bypasses the View menu in all versions of Outlook.
