Under stress, a computer running Windows NT Server or Workstation may display a STOP 0x0000001E error message on a blue screen. The first parameter is C0000005. This can occur without user activity in the foreground.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
