Information from the Microsoft License Logging service (LLS) may not bereplicated from a licensing server, in either Per Seat or Per Server mode,to the License Master server. When this occurs, Event Viewer may containthe following error message:
Event ID: 213 Source: License Manager Description: Replication of license information failed because the license logging service on server <servername> could not be contacted.
This behavior can occur if the LLS on one server cannot communicate witha License Master server.
To resolve this issue, verify that the LLS server can establish a RemoteProcedure Call (RPC) connection with the License Master server over thenetwork. You may need to perform basic network troubleshooting to diagnoseand correct any problems preventing the two servers from establishing thenecessary communication link.
