STREAMS Does Not Handle User Data Correctly

Winsock API-based X.25 support does not function correctly when used withthe Windows NT streams driver.
The TDI-to-TPI wrapper in Windows NT streams driver does not update themessage block write pointers properly in handling Connect/Disconnect UserData, as well as the Connect/Disconnect Options.
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or the individual software update. For information on obtaining the latest service pack, please go to:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
