When accessing ADP Payroll using Microsoft Office Accounting (MOA) the service is unavailable

You are trying to access payroll through the Microsoft Office Accounting program and you get redirected to a page stating, "For your payroll needs, Microsoft suggests ADP’s Payroll Services for small businesses...clickhere to learn more about Run Powered by ADP."

Payroll for Office Accounting, which was offered through ADP payroll processing service provider ADP, is no longer available.

Workaround 1:
Sign up for the independent ADP payroll offering, which still allows you to download transactions to Office Accounting.   You can find more information on Run Powered by ADP by going to the following web site, or calling 1-866-527-5237.

Workaround 2:

Calculate payroll manually and input your payroll transactions using adjustment transactions for your general ledger.   You can also take this approach when your accountant or outside service bureau calculates your payroll.

For steps on setting up the manuall payroll calculator in Microsoft Office Accounting search the Microsoft Office Accounting Help file for, "Setup the manual payroll calculator."
