After you install Update Rollup 7 you experience longer login times when you open Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook.
Some of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook files are moved to %localappdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM.
The old files located in %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM can be large and can cause longer login times. These files need to be manually removed.
Some files in %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM are needed to support Roaming profiles. To remove the files that are not needed complete the following steps on the computer where Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook is installed:
Click Start, click Run, type %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM, and then click OK.
The following folders can be deleted as they have been moved to the %localappdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM directory.
You can delete the following folders in the ABP folder:
The following files should remain in the ABP folder:
The Client folder is new with Update Rollup 7 so should not be removed.
The Data folder will contain the Offline Databases if the client has the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Client for Microsoft Office Outlook with Offline Access installed. This folder will be in %localappdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM for new installs, but existing installs will continue to be in %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM.
The Logs folder will contain the setup log and any hotfix logs from past installs. These files can be deleted if you have had a successful setup and do not need to troubleshoot the setup.
