You run Microsoft Message Queuing (also known as MSMQ) 3.0 in Workgroup mode on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 Service Pack (SP2).
On this computer, you apply the security update 971032 that is documented in the security bulletin MS09-040.
You send a Message Queuing 3.0 message by using Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and by using an external certificate.
In this scenario, the Message Queuing 3.0 message is rejected by the receiver. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The Signature is Invalid.
This issue occurs because the certificate service provider name may be written to the Message Queuing 3.0 message incorrectly after you apply the security update 971032.
