Opalis Monitor File objects fail and return "File monitor failed to start. Reason: Invalid input parameters." in Error Summary Text published data
Policies in Opalis Integration Server that use the Monitor File object fail to execute properly and return the following message in the Error Summary Text published data:
"File monitor failed to start. Reason: Invalid input parameters."
In addition, the following Opalis Platform Event may be captured:
"File monitor of folder "<folder path>" failed to start"
Reduce the maximum number of concurrent policy instances that are running, or increase the amount of Desktop Heap that is available to each windows station on the affected Action Server.
To reduce the maximum number of concurrent policy instances that can be running on an Action Server follow the steps below:
- On the Opalis Integration Server Management Server computer, open a Command Prompt and navigate to the installation folder of the Management Service (default path = C:\Program Files\Opalis Software\Opalis Integration Server\Management Service).
- Execute the following command:
aspt.exe <ActionServerComputerName> <MaximumNumberOfPolicies>
- Restart the OpalisActionService service on the affected Action Server computer.
