Stop 0xA in Netbt.sys When Querying the DNS for a NetBIOS Name

Symptoms
Your computer running Windows NT may stop with a blue screen Stop 0xA error in Netbt.sys when it attempts to resolve a name in the DNS namespace.
Cause
When performing name resolution operations in some environments, WindowsNT computers dereference a tracking object twice.

Resolution

Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0
