Data corruption occurs on a NAND flash storage volume when a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device powers off during an unmount operation on the flash storage

You unmount a NAND flash storage volume on a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device, and the device powers off suddenly. In this scenario, data in the flash storage volume is corrupted.
This problem occurs because of an issue in the transaction code of the flash driver. This issue causes the driver to write data to a flash sector that is not in an erased state.
