When you import address entries from Microsoft Outlook Express 5, not all information in the Group Details, of a Windows Address Book (WAB) Group, is imported to the Outlook Address Book (OAB) contacts distribution list.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
The OAB distribution list does not contain the fields needed to accommodate the detail information from the WAB group. Information in the Notes field is imported. The same condition exists if you attempt to import the group details to a Personal Address Book using the Corporate or Workgroup installation of Outlook.
