You attempted to send a fax message from Outlook running on Microsoft Windows NT Workstation. Because the fax software is not installed, Office attempts to install the Symantec Fax Starter Edition on demand. In this case, you are not logged on to Windows NT as an administrator and the installation cannot complete.
WHAT TO TRYQuit Outlook and restart Windows NT. Log on to Windows NT with an account in the workstation's administrator group and then attempt to fax in Outlook. With administrator permissions you will be allowed to install Symantec Fax Starter Edition the first time you attempt to fax.
