Symptoms
Every time that you reopen the Find and Replace dialog box in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 IDE, the width of the dialog box grows by several pixels.
Cause
This problem occurs because Visual Studio 2010 incorrectly calculates the size of the Find and Replace dialog box.
Resolution
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

Workaround
To work around this problem, you can manually resize the Find and Replace dialog box size. However, the Find and Replace dialog box will continue to grow wider again every time that you reopen it.
