A registry corruption occurs on a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device

SYMPTOMS
A registry corruption occurs on a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device. You may encounter this issue after you restart a device from a sudden power loss.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because of a race condition in which the kernel flushes the registry asynchronously and an application modifies the registry at the same time. Therefore, the registry becomes inconsistent and a registry corruption occurs.
