BUG #: 56131 (SQLBUG_70)
Cycling through table permissions in the Object Properties dialog box in SQL Server Enterprise Manager (SEM), and using the Apply button to set a permission to DENY, actually sets the permission on the table to REVOKE.
To change the permission back to DENY:
In the Object Properties dialog box, click OK.
Re-open the Object Properties dialog box, and then click OK each time you change the permissions state.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server 7.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 2 for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
