Assume that you have only one connection filter in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, and you try to remove the filter by clicking the Edit Connection Filters option. In this situation, the filter is removed. However, when you click Edit Connection Filters again, the filter is still displayed.
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1To remove the filter by using the Miisclient.exe process, follow these steps.
Note By default, the Miisclient.exe file is located along the following path:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\Synchronization Service\UIShell
Method 2Create another connection filter, and then remove the filter that you want to remove.
