FIX: MQHRF2 header is included in the message body when you use the MQSC Adapter in a Host Integration Server 2006 environment

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2006 environment, when you use the client-based BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ (MQSC Adapter) to receive messages that contain a header type of MQHRF2, the header information is moved into the message body. This may not be what you want because the downstream parser may be expecting a message body that does not contain the header information.
This problem occurs because the MQSC receive location does not parse MQHRF2 header properties and promote the information. To preserve the data in the header, the MQSC adapter just moves it into the message body.
To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix. This hotfix enables two options for MQHRF2 handling:
  • To preserve the header properties as part of the message body.
  • To completely remove the MQHRF2 header properties from the message body and to discard the header data.
After the hotfix is applied, if you set Data Offset for Headers option to Yes for the MQSC receive location, the MQHRF2 header is removed from the message body. If you set Data Offset for Headers to No, the MQHRF2 header will be part of the message body.
