When a network projector is connected to a Windows 7-based computer, some desktop areas are not displayed

When you connect a Windows 7-based computer to a network projector, parts of the desktop may not be forwarded to the network projector.

For example, the Start  button may be displayed as a black square on the network projector.
This issue occurs because Windows 7 does not switch modes correctly when the screen resolution and color depth settings are changed.
Move the pointer over the areas that are displayed incorrectly.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
