In a Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 environment, you add the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) domain of a federated partner in the Allow list on the Access Edge server. However, a user from a domain that is not in the Allow list can send messages to the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 users.
To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
