When you start any one of the programs listed in the "Applies to" section, your computer may stop responding (hang).
This issue may occur if the video driver for your video adapter is outdated. This issue has been known to occur on the following video adapters:
NVIDIA Ge-Force 256 chip set.
Matrox G400 dual head with video card drivers later than version 5.32.010 of Apr, 25 2001.
ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X running display driver version 5.2.040.4.0.0 and display settings in True Color mode.
To take advantage of the detail of the maps in Microsoft Streets and Trips, set the color and screen resolution settings at the highest level that your monitor supports. The minimum color setting is 256 colors. You will receive better results with higher color settings.
To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer for information about how to obtain and install the latest video driver that is available for your video adapter.
