When you use the Exchange data collection (ExchangeData.exe) tool in a Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC) 4.0 environment, the Exchange data collection job fails. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:
Event Type: Error
This issue occurs because the Exchange cmdlet returns data that is in an unexpected format.
