Assume that you try to move a mailbox that contains a corrupted Search Folder in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment. For example, the Search Folder's criterion refers to another folder that has been deleted. Then, the Search Folder becomes corrupted. In this situation, the move process fails. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:
Log Name: Application Source: MSExchange Mailbox Replication Event ID: 1110 Task Category: Request Level: Warning Description: The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to apply search criteria to a search folder. The error was ignored. Request: Primary (<GUID>) Folder name: <folder name> Error: MapiExceptionInvalidEntryId: Unable to SetSearchCriteria. (hr=0x80040107, ec=-2147221241)
This issue occurs because an access validation occurs on the corrupted Search Folder when the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service validates the entries during the move process.
To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
2579150 Description of Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1
