Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment:

You have a BizTalk orchestration that submits an updategram message to the BizTalk Adapter for DB2.
-
The updategram message has multiple INSERT or UPDATE commands.
In this scenario, the INSERT or UPDATE commands do not finish successfully. Additionally, a message that resembles the following is logged in the Application event log:
Event ID: 5743
Source: BizTalk Server
Description:
The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port "Port Name" with URL "URL". It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port. Details:"Invalid index 0 for this MsDb2ParameterCollection with Count=0.".
Note If you submit an updategram message that has a single INSERT or UPDATE command, the INSERT or UPDATE command is completed successfully.
Resolution
Hotfix information

You must have Host Integration Server 2010 installed to apply this hotfix.
