Outlook 2007 update enables access to Exchange Server 2010 Personal Archive
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 introduced a new feature that allows organizations to control how messaging data is archived. The Personal Archive feature eliminates the need for Personal Folder (.pst) files and lets users store messages in an archive mailbox.
At first, you could access the archive mailbox only by using Microsoft Outlook 2010 or by using Microsoft Office Outlook Web App.This article describes the new functionality that was added in the February 2011 hotfix package for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Service Pack 2. This new functionality enables Outlook 2007 to access the Exchange Server 2010 Personal Archive mailbox.
