The IM and call history are not stored in the default Exchange mailbox correctly when you use Office Communicator 2007 R2
Consider the following scenario:
- You install the 32-bit version of Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 and the 32-bit version of Outlook 2010 on the same computer.
- You configure multiple Exchange accounts in an Outlook profile.
- You configure Office Communicator 2007 R2 to match the default account.
In this scenario, the Instant Message (IM) history and the call history are randomly stored in one of the non-default account mailboxes.Note
This issue also occurs when you configure additional mailboxes in Outlook.
This issue occurs because the method that is used to retrieve Exchange accounts only receives the information about the first Exchange account.
To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:2590699
Description of the cumulative update package for Communicator 2007 R2: September 2011
