When you print a Portable Network Graphics (.png) file that is inside of a Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML) object tag, the printout may appear like a negative image of the original image. For example, black may be printed as white, white may be printed as black, and colors may be altered to different colors.
To work around this problem, try to print the .png file from another program such as Microsoft Word for Windows version 7.0.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
