When you try to open a message that is based on either a custom Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) or Outlook form by using MAPI calls or the PrepareForm or ShowForm functions, the form opens in IPM.Note, regardless of the message class.
This behavior is caused by design changes between Microsoft Outlook 98 and Outlook 2000.
