This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 hotfix package that is dated October 25, 2011.
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
The resource plan is unexpectedly checked in before you save it in Office Project Server 2007. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The resource plan is no longer checked out to you and your changes will not be saved. Contact the Project Server administrator.
Assume that you add the time dimension to the Data Analysis view in Project Web Access (PWA) and that you then expand the time dimension to view the Week level. In this situation, Week10 is displayed before Week6 in February 2011.
Note This issue will occur again in March 2012.
When Office Project Server 2007 creates a large volume of shadow table records, performance problems may occur. Additionally, the shadow table records may cause severe database bloating in the draft and published databases.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problems described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
