INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of PowerPoint 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements. 

Issues that this update fixes

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install Microsoft Office 2010 and Office 2013 side-by-side.

  • You uninstall Office 2013.

  • You try to open a PowerPoint presentation in Protected View.

In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

PowerPoint found a problem with content in <filename>.pptx. PowerPoint can attempts to repair the presentation.
If you trust the source of this presentation, click Repair.


When you click Repair, the PowerPoint presentation is not repaired.
