Outlook users running the OST Integrity Checker may see mismatch errors reported for the Sent Items folder. The error message takes the following form:
10:14:36 Scanning folder Sent Items. 10:14:36 The message with the subject '<subject of message>' in your mailbox on the Microsoft Exchange Server does not match the message in the offline folder file.
The change numbers that are used to compare the revisions of items in the offline folder (.ost) file and the Microsoft Exchange Server information store do not match. The items do match, but the number is not properly compared.
