Description of the Excel 2007 hotfix package (Excel-x-none.msp, Graph-x-none.msp, Xlconv-x-none.msp): June 26, 2012

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Office Excel 2007 hotfix package that is dated June 26, 2012.  

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that an HTML file contains an integer value that has a period. When you open the HTML file by using Excel 2007, the period is replaced with a comma. This issue occurs when all the following conditions are true:
    • The integer value is between 1,000 and 999,999.
    • The user locale is set to a language in which the decimal separator is not a period but the date separator and thousands separator is a period. For example, the user local is set to German.
  • 2687282 A comment on the first page of an .xls file is printed on the second page in Excel 2007
