Symptoms

If you have ever used more than 30 user-defined resource governor resource pools for an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2012, you may be unable to connect to the instance of SQL Server 2012. Additionally, a minidump file is generated, and the following error message is logged in the SQL Server error log:
