Prerequisites to apply this security update

To install this security update, you must have one of the following installed on the computer:

  • Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications 6.3 runtime

  • Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications 6.4 runtime

  • Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications 6.5 runtime

Additionally, you must have Windows Installer 3.1 or a later version installed on the computer. To install Windows Installer 3.1 or a later version, visit one of the following Microsoft websites:

Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable for Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP

Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000

You may have to restart the computer after you install this security update.
